Im not sure if the mods will allow this but if not I can take it down. Anyways I just wanted to know what doujin websites (that sell kemono/beast/furry) ship internationally, right now I only know of 2

Alice-Books http://alice-books.com/
and a new one (its very overpriced)
http://plecomi.net/

I know of various mail order sites but i dislike using them because often my the time you buy a doujin for $10 it costs you $40+

last note, you can post Download sites if you wish but I prefer hard copys since digital downloads hre often VERY censored, and ill take the small white or black bar over completely censored genitals.

pic related, its my current collection, if you see anything in my small collection that is NO LONGER SOLD, and has not been posted let me know and i will try to find time to scan it.

There is one book I would have love to see.. but you don't have it and sadly it's sold out.

It's called Ape Rape.. I think there's a way to share thing where the poster and the viewer get something in return.

Exchanges. I find something you want, you find something I want and we just open them both to the scavenger and somehow everyone wins.

Though to make things more interesting.. there is a place that allow you to buy stuff at a reasonable price

http://i-tm4u.biz/
You can order things through this person.. And she also does auction.. at a steep price. The guy who runs Plecomi.net directed me to her (I bothered him a lot demanding crazy amount of shit)

http://auction.ransky.net
An auction place that get stuff from other conventions and places. Not a strong kemono presence. Their prices are slightly fairer than plecomi

I'm glad that there are people willing to share... when there's no more hope of getting something
>> No. 2782
>>2780

like most mail order sites http://i-tm4u.biz/ has some heavy fines, but at least you can buy from many other websites, so ill still add it to my favorites.

and i forgot to mention http://auction.ransky.net in my post, but eah they tend to only have like 10-20 kemono doujins up for auction at a time. its a real shame more stores dont ship internationally.

>>2782
It depends... you can order up to 4 'stuff' at a price of 1000 yen together.. If you do enough business with them, it becomes 500 yens.

That's reasonable when you compare it to.. Let's say 20 dollars per purchase. This is the person i get my bulk full of shit. She also group things together for you.

I see that the mods pinned my thread which is pretty cool, so is there any way I can edit my top post? That way I can just keep a list of websites/services right at the top that people can easily look at rather than scrolling through the whole thread.
>> No. 2824
>>2801

Not really no.. imageboards aren't like forums for good or ill.

You could always delete the thread and rewrite it with more links once you think you have enough, and get it restickied.
>> No. 2834
>>2824

yeah maybe once i get enough links together i will re post and hopefully the mods will stick it again, anyways until than we can just slowly add them here.

heres one posteed by KemonoLover in another thread

Mandrake
http://www.mandarake.co.jp/

they dont have a large selection of kemono but they do have auctions so it might be good to keep an eye out.

Two questions about Alice-Books:

1. How long does it usually take for them to get back to you on a international order request?

2. Do you get any "your order can not be completed" e-mails if you mess anything up?
>> No. 3117
>>3073

1) usually 1 business day (mon-fri)

2) Ive never had a problem other than they werent shipping a requested doujin internationally, so I don't know, sorr.
>> No. 3120
>>3073

It depends on what you order. If you're like me and order a book that haven't arrived yet.. it holds your entire order up.

It doesn't take long.. but there is a small chance the government will grab your shit and look to make sure there's nothing illegal. But that happens if you have a large order.. and oddly porn doesn't count as being illegal for they went through my shit a lot.

Ok, that answers most of my questions.

I've never used Alice-Books before and I wanted to check some things that weren't on the Overseas Shipping page.

Though it seems something may have gone wrong with my order, because I submitted it late Thursday and have not gotten an e-mail back yet. Everything should be available for Overseas Shipping, and should be in stock now. Oh well, I'll resubmit my order tomorrow or later if I don't get the e-mail by then.

In the meantime, just to do a "stupid mistake" check:

Do you need anything on the subject line?
You can order multiple items in one email (like below), right?

The body of the email should be something like:
item's URL
amount
different item's URL
amount

postal code
telephone number
address, country
full name
International Mail
>> No. 3144
>>3125
Well, Subject isn't much important you can just add 'Order Flows' or something like that.

You can add URLs in one email and make sure you already give them amount of items.
>> No. 3187
>>3125
Ok, It's me again, just wanted to let you know Alice Books accepted my resubmission.
So here's a quick recap of everything for those just reading this post and ordering from Alice Books:

You should get a confirmation email within one business day (mon-fri) on your order.

If you mess something up, no email.

Subject line isn't all that important, add "Order", "Order Flows", or something like that if you want.

Follow a format like this if you're unsure about the body of the email:
item's URL
amount
different item's URL
amount

postal code
telephone number
address, country
full name
mailing type

If you're curious on what went wrong with my order originally, it was probably the formatting.

I haven't been able to find copies online to buy of the top row of doujin. I would especially like to the ones of King Kazma from Dark Water. If you could find the time to scan those sometimes, that would be most awesome. :)
>> No. 3193
>>3191

alice-books still sells the black one on the right which contains almost all kink kazma doujins made, so untill that sells out there really isnt anything to scan. I did scan one of the sections from king oz fighter, since it is not longer sold, but other than that the black book contains everything else.
>> No. 3319
any news on the King books ? :3
>> No. 3450
since no one has posted it, I ended up buying the black book. I can see why people preferred to get it for free, too. with shipping, and how $1 is now only worth 72 yen, cost me $40 with shipping.

and no, I'm not going to scan it. (no scanner to scan with. ...and people at kinkos might look at me funny if I do it there)
>> No. 3472
>>3450

yeah when you buy from alice books you never buy one doujin, you buy at least 5 because the shipping will only go up slightly yet you get a lot more doujins, and actually I support you scanning it at kinko's, but only if you videotaped it

I think I'll document my Alice-Books ordering experience here for others. The picture is of the email I sent Friday. I'll let you guys know if I get a reply.

I'll keep you guys tuned to give an idea of how fast these things arrive.

Plecomi isn't new at all. I've gotten plenty of doujins from that site over the years.
>> No. 4914

I bought a book on Aug 26, that's when the paypal email was sent to me which I payed them right away.

My sister found the package on the front door on the 4th of September. I was surprised how fast they got it to me, usual oversea orders it takes about a month or so from my experiences at other places.
>> No. 5179
So i submitted an order to Alice-books and I'm a little confused. the email they sent me said this

"今後ともアリスブックスを宜しくお願いいたします!
We look forward for your next purchase at The Alice Books !

※ご入金が確認でき次第、改めて自動メールが送信されます。
Once we confirm receipt of your payment, an email confirming the payment shall be automatically sent to you"

which would make sense but I'm not sure where i entered any payment info, I just went right to international shipping, put in my info and hit checkout...

If I'm wrong and just being an idiot right now, when do they check their orders and such? I ordered late Friday so does that mean i have to wait till this Monday to know if something is messed up or not?
>> No. 5180
>>5179
Sounds like that e-mail's only a confirmation of your order.

http://alice-books.com/help/user/oversea

If I'm not mistaken, they send you another e-mail with the breakdown of the total cost, THEN they ask for the payment. This is probably because they have to check for shipping costs and all.
>> No. 5181
>>5180
alright so i guess I just wait for them to email me on Monday?
>> No. 5190

I think so. Again, I'm just thinking what's logical in this case.

Anyway, I'm planning on buying something off Alice Books as well, just waiting for my funds to get loaded to Paypal before I get the green light. I'll tell you what I get when I order.
>> No. 5245

For Alice-Books, what do you recommend: TA-Q-BIN / EMS shipping, or international shipping?
>> No. 6707
anyone know the shipping rates for alice-books they give a table for different weights http://alice-books.com/help/user/oversea but have no idea how much the books weigh, particularly http://alice-books.com/item/show/29-8 and http://alice-books.com/item/show/503-2 best i can come up with is that they're both "B5" size

Right here's my experience if you want to use any other Japanese retailers you need to use a proxy service - although it's expensive -you can easily get what you're looking for.

Only a few retailers offer international shipping for the following few reasons.
1. The retailers that do, want to take your money, if the delivery for whatever reason doesn't reach you - your loss.

2. Retailers that don't ship internationally don't because they've had problems with customs (especially canada) or dishonest people who say they haven't received it or the postal system loses the package.
So for retailers to avoid arguments and bad reputation they don't offer international shipping. And in Japan if one doesn't allow it the rest soon follow.
-----------------------------------
If you're buying a lot of doujinshi then EMS delivery is worth it. i.e up to 1.0Kg is actually a lot. One 40 page doujinshi is about 120g - weight depends on the paper quality too, in this case it was very good quality paper as it was thick.
-----------------------------------------------
If you're ordering a few 5 or less I'd use International mail (JP post) (SAL) with tracking as it's much cheaper and still efficient, it got to me in the UK in about 5 days which is much shorter than the 3 weeks they suggest.
However alice books only offer international post w/o tracking and has a 2 book limit, but it is still cheaper than EMS if you're not ordering much.
-------------------------------
Final advice pay when the exchange rates are in your favour, it saves little, but every little helps.

Sorry for rambling.

I've only ever done business through http://www.japan-auction-agency.com/ and they've never done me wrong. They do basically everything, from auctions to regular online shops. I've bought stuff from Chibineco's webpage using these guys before, and honestly I think they could use more business.
>> No. 9671
Is there any reason there isn't any shop with stock in Europe or America yet ? That would ship internationally without these restrictions ? I guess they don't want their kemono doujins to be shipped outside japan eh ?
Or would it be because of legal stuff applied to Europe or America regarding kemono ?
I am interested in opening such store with stock in Europe to cut down the prices, would it even be a good idea ? I have no idea what laws are applied to this genre of material.

Looks a bit more expensive than i-TM4U (http://i-tm4u.biz/). It's my current choice of deputy service, and it's served me well so far. Problem with i-TM4U is its less-flexible schedule (they're closed on Wednesdays and weekends), but if you can look past that (I usually plan in advance so no problems there), give this a try.

I know I just recommended this again from this thread, but they're pretty good in what they do, and also very approachable if you tend to request a lot.
>> No. 11952
Sorry for asking what may be a dumb question, but I'm new to this. When ordering from alice-books, doujins come in a discreet package, yes?
And if I may, how would one recommend ordering just a single doujin? Would direct order from alice be good, or would one of the auction/mail proxy sites be recommended?
>> No. 12120
>>11952

not dumb at all, I remember ordering there for my first time being cautious. But after my first order I was completely satisfied and continued ordering from them.

The package comes in a brown mailing bag with Japanese writing on it and your address. It's pretty tight and non see through so it should be fine.

and I just deal with their shipping as well, no need to use a third party buyer unless it's "no overseas" and you really really need it. I usually pick the International mailing option (without the insurance) since its cheaper and I haven't ran into any problems with it yet.
>> No. 13439
>>12120
Just to confirm this and to say that I could not imagine a more nondescript, inconspicuous package then the one from Alice Books. In my case, it did take the full two weeks arrive. The experience was very smooth overall and I encourage anyone with a paypal account to give it a try.

I love Sugoi Kinniku's works (I can see you have Best Partner there). And so much King Kazuma lol
But yeah I never even thought something like this existed for How to Teach Your Dragon... Was thinking of ordering some of their works but kinda hesitating. Not because of price but couldn't it be considered obscene or some shit, since it's essentially bestiality? I remember some guy bought Kemono for Essential and similar books and got arrested... D:
Probably same reason there does not exist any store c.f. >>9671

Sorry for the approx 2-year necro, but are you still selling? I'm interested in buying ウサギ飼育日記S (the black one in the top right).
